Data acquisition from iCloud Drive

Passware Kit acquires iOS 9 backups from Apple iCloud, as well as data from iCloud Drive. Apple ID credentials, a previously extracted authentication token, or a live memory image of the target computer is required to access iCloud Drive. Data from all iOS 9 platforms, including 9.3, is supported. Available in: Passware Kit Forensic

Password recovery for iOS 9 backups

Passware Kit recovers passwords for iTunes backups (PLIST files). The new version also supports backups of iOS 9 devices, including the latest version 9.3. GPU acceleration and distributed computing are applied to accelerate these password recovery processes. Available in: Passware Kit Forensic

Distributed Password Recovery improvements

Passware improves its distributed computing algorithm to leverage Passware Kit Agents’ resources more efficiently. The new version of Passware Kit Server also highlights Passware Kit Agents showing unexpected performance drops or computers that require user attention. Available in: Passware Kit Forensic, Passware Kit Business

GPU acceleration improvements

To achieve the maximum password recovery speed with the previous versions of Passware Kit, customers had to disable the CPU, using the GPU only. Thanks to CPU usage optimization, Passware Kit 2016 v.2 recovers passwords for the most popular file types 30-120% faster on CPU and GPU. The optimization covers password recovery for MS Office 2007-2016, RAR archives, BitLocker, Android images, and other file types that support GPU acceleration. Available in: all editions

Automatic updates without user interaction

Passware Kit Forensic and Passware Kit Business feature automatic software updates. Starting from 2016 v.2, Passware Subscription login is no longer required in order to enable the updates.
