Q: I have lost my Passware Product Key
If you no longer have the installation file or the product key, fill in the Lost License form, and we will resend the information to you.
You can also use this form to receive a new download link for your software.
Enter the email address that was used to purchase the license and the details will be sent to that same email. If the email used for the purchase is no longer available, please contact our Support with proof of purchase (i.e., order number, email used with purchase, or product key).

For Passware Kit Ultimate, Mobile, Forensic, and Business editions
Please login to your Passware Account and select Manage/Renew Subscription or select the Check for updates option from the Help menu in Passware Kit.
If a newer version of Passware Kit is available, the application will show a change log and an offer to download and install the new version. An active Passware Subscription or license is required to receive software updates.
For Home & Small Office editions
All other Passware products can be updated with a 50% discount from the original price. Minor updates with bug fixes (e.g. 2025.2.1) are provided free of charge within 90 days from the date of purchase.
Please contact our Support to get the most current update/revision of the software with a 50% discount. Make sure you provide the proof of purchase, i.e., product key, order reference number, or order confirmation email.
Q: How can I transfer a Passware product to another PC?
To transfer a Passware Kit license to a different computer, the software must be deactivated and uninstalled from the first PC, then installed on the second PC. To make sure you continue your current recovery process on a new computer, please refer to the following article:

Passware software requires activation of the Product Key. This can be done online or offline. Refer to this article for the step-by-step activation instructions.
