What Qualcomm chipsets and Android versions are supported?
Passware Kit Mobile supports Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (SM8150), 845 (SDM845), 730 (SM7150-АА), 710 (SDM710), 712 (SDM712), 665 (SM6125) and 675 (SM6150) chipsets. It unlocks and extracts data from Qualcomm-based mobile devices of various vendors, such as Lenovo, LG, Nokia, OnePlus, Samsung, Sony, and Xiaomi phones.
The supported versions of Android for Qualcomm-based devices are 8.x-11.x.

How to put a Qualcomm-based device into the Boot ROM mode?
OnePlus 6/6t can be put into the Boot ROM mode via button combinations. Other devices require short-circuiting of the test pins. Check the Qualcomm test-point gallery for the location of the pins.
From what mobile applications can data be decrypted?
Besides passcode recovery, Passware Kit Mobile detects the installed applications and performs instant decryption or initiates the password recovery process. The decrypted device data is typically saved as an EXT4 file system image in DD format for full-disk encryption, and in plaintext or DAR format for file-base encryption, which is commonly supported by forensic applications for further analysis. Application decryption results are saved as an SQLite database in the project output folder inside the “unprotected” folder.
Below is the list of applications supported for data extraction:
|Instant decryption / Brute-force
What encryption methods can be used on Qualcomm-based devices?
The following encryption methods can be used on mobile devices:
- Secure startup
- PIN, Pattern, Password, Knock code (LG only)
- Instant decryption (for devices with Secure Startup disabled)
Passware Tip: For some devices, password type can be found on the device itself at /system/device_policies.xml
Can GPU acceleration be used with Qualcomm-based devices?
Yes. For Qualcomm-based devices, Passware Kit Mobile performs GPU-accelerated brute-force password recovery. The mobile device should be connected throughout the recovery and decryption process. The recovery speed can be accelerated on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs.
Passware Tip: For devices with Secure Startup option disabled, Passware Kit Mobile instantly decrypts user data and subsequently performs the recovery of the user password.
